admit that Halloween is my favorite holiday. But most horror music disappoints when it comes to setting really horrible mood. Pop hits, cheesy maniacal laughter and backbeats just does not cut it. So I scoured the web to find the best music to give you goosebumps.
horror SOUNDSCAPES - You'll have to slog through a lot of funny music to find the gems in this žanru.Sljedeće are superior to set the right mood.
1 Halloween Horror Music so raw fear. Alternates horror soundscapes with eerie melodies.
2 Dark Soundscapes series of Terror Syndicate. Several CDs to choose from. (terrorsyndicate.com)
3rd monsters halloween party is described as "The Ultimate Scary Sounds and Music for Your Halloween Bash." You'll find some versions with bonus tracks that are a little lame, but do not let that discourage you. iTunes offers unadulterated songs, which are all you need.
soundtrack - problem with the soundtrack is that it provides short clips interesting music, but they do not last long enough. However, you can not go wrong with the master of the genre Charlie Clouser, who has worked with Rob Zombie, Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson and others. Here are some recommendations:
4 Resident Evil: Extinction - Charlie Clouser
5th Saw III - Charlie Clouser (be sure to drive with the "original film score," available from iTunes, not the disc with dark metal songs)
You can listen to music on Last.fm. Clouser
Classics - if you prefer music from the classical repertoire, there are really only a couple of pieces that are appropriate. You'll find lots of lists with the proposals as "a dream of witches 'Sabbath" from Berlioz' Symphonie Fantastique , but the music changes key and the mood too often to be useful in a spooky Halloween setting. Follow these Quantity:
6 "O Fortuna" of Carmina Burana - Orff
7th Danse Macabre - Saint-Saens
8th Devil's Dance - John Williams (Star Wars and Harry Potter fame)
9th Funeral March of Sonata No. 2 in Bb Minor - Chopin
10th Isle of the Dead - Rachmanoniff
11th night on Bald Mountain - Moussorgsky
12th Toccata and Fugue in D minor - Bach
13. So far, the best you will find a compilation CD, which includes many parts of the above, the Fright Night: Music that goes bump in the night . Although some tracks fall into the category of mood changes, you can always choose to follow play. But get the 2006 Sony release, is available from iTunes or Rhapsody, which has twice as many songs.
dissonant modernist MUSIC - Most people find this disturbing music, which is why it is used so extensively in the horror films (think shower scene from Hitchcock's Psycho - who also happens to be on the compilation CD listed ).
14 Black Angels - George Crumb
15. Adagio of Music for Strings, Percussion and Celesta - Bela Bartok
So turn out the lights, turn up the volume, and let your imagination go.
